Alangkarn Theatre is situated at Km. 155 marker on Sukhumvit Road, Jomtien, Pattaya. Bamrung Sport Club
Bamrung Sport Club is located on the bank of the Huai Sak Nok reservoir off of Sukhumvit Highway at Km. 150. The Club offers instruction and facilities for water sports such as windsurfing, sailing, para-motor and para-gliding. There are also facilities for horseback riding and canoeing, catamaran-riding and kayaking.

Jomtien Beach
The former paddy fields have turned into a thriving beach. Only 3 kilometres down Pattaya Beach, Jomtien is highly recommended to those who seek a quieter resort. The 6-kilometer long, largely straight beach is popular with windsurfers and water sports enthusiasts. It is also quieter and more relaxing than Pattaya Beach. Hotels and other accommodation facilities are available along the road that runs parallel to the shore.

Pattaya BeachesPattaya Travel
The half-moon-shaped Pattaya Beach is 4 kilometers in length with a road running parallel to the beach. From the mid-section to the southern end of the beach, there is a vast array of restaurants, bars, department stores, souvenir stores, as well as other places of entertainment. To the north of the beach are various mini-resorts and hotels in a quieter atmosphere.

It's actually free to stroll along the beaches, but operators will charge you for the services they provide, i.e. the beach chair, jet skis, banana boats, paragliding, etc.

Koh Lan
Koh Lan is situated 7.5 kilometers off Pattaya Bay and is a 45-minute ferry ride or 15 minutes by speed boat ride. The island measures 2 kilometres by 5 kilometres offering white sandy beach sides, Haad Ta Waen, Haad Laem Thian and Haad Thong Long. Visitors can choose either snorkeling or viewing the coral from glass bottom boats. Ferries to the island leave South Pattaya pier daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Cruises by sailing junks with lunch provided are also available.

Koh Khrok
Approximately 8 kilometers off Pattaya Bay is Ko Khrok, an isle almost totally surrounded by rock formations. A gap of 100 metres to the east is a stretch of sandy beach where visitors can go and enjoy viewing underwater coral reefs. This island can be reached by chartered boats from South Pattaya. (As this is a private island, permission to the entry must be obtained beforehand).

Horseshoe Point Club
Horseshoe Point Club is approximately 10 kilometres off Sukhumvit Road, Horseshoe Point Club offers horseback riding at all levels of proficiency, as well as dressage, cross-country jumping and polo.

Khao Pattaya or Khao Phra Bat
A small hill to the south of Pattaya Beach, accessible by an asphalt road, which leads up to the hilltop. Khao Pattaya is now the site of the Naval Radio Station where the monument of Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak, the Father of Royal Thai Navy, is situated. A sacred Buddha image is also enshrined on the hilltop. The viewpoint on the hilltop offers a panoramic view of Pattaya City and Pattaya Bay.

Koh Phai, Koh Manwichai, Koh Luam, Koh Klungbadan
Two hours or 23 kilometres from Pattaya are the Koh Phai Islands, the largest of which is Koh Phai. The other islands include Ko Manwichai, Ko Luam and Ko Klungbadan. The area is under the supervision of the Royal Thai Navy, however, visitors are allowed to stop by during the daytime for swimming, relaxation or diving. Overnight stays are not permitted.

Koh Sak
Located approximately six hundred meters further from Koh Lan, or about 10 kilometres from Pattaya is Koh Sak, a small island shaped like an upturned horse-shoe. There are two connecting beaches to the north and south. Coral ranges can be seen along the south shore. It can be reached by chartered boats from South Pattaya.

Laser Trek
Laser Trek is part of Ripley's in the Royal Garden Plaza. Here players are dramatically engaged in a simulation of star wars. The excitement of the game lies in firing laser guns at rivals and set targets with the objective being to make the highest scores as counted according to the number of targets hit.

Mini Siam
Located at Kilometres 143 on Highway No. 3 is a wonderland of miniature replicas of such outstanding architectural works as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Democracy Monument, the Bridge over the River Kwai, Prasat Hin Phimai, etc. Replicas of places of world significance are also displayed in the mini-world area. These include the Tower Bridge, Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty and Trevi Fountain. It is opened daily from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.

Paintball
Paintball ground is located on Thep Prasit Road, about 20-minute drive from Pattaya city. Paintball is a game played in a model battlefield in an enclosed spacious area to create the atmosphere of a real fight. All players are provided with safety dresses and masks for protection from any bodily harm. Air guns filled with plastic shots driven by the pressure of carbon dioxide inside are used as weapons. A shot will burst into color water when hitting a victim. The players are divided into two teams, each trying to seize the flag of the other team and bringing it back safely to their base. This game never fails to offer excitement.

Panarak Park
This park can be reached by proceeding 5 kilometres on Phonprapha Nimit Road off of Highway No. 3 at Km. 145. The park is a nature-based recreational facility with fishing gear for rent that is ideal for relaxation through fishing activities.

Pattaya Nightlife
Pattaya's nightlife activities normally continue until dawn to appeal to the individuals' tastes and moods. Almost all fantasies can be fulfilled especially after sunset. The extension of Beach road in South Pattaya turns into a promenade after dark transformed into one of the hottest nightspots. Hunting ground beaming with neon lights and music, where fellow holiday-makers youths and aged alike, find an endless array of dining, shopping and entertainment venues.

Pattaya Elephant Village
Located on Phonpraphanimit Road, which is off of Highway No.3 at Km. 145, the Pattaya Elephant Village showcases daily life of elephants and their masters. It also offers stage shows, which demonstrate how to catch wild elephants, elephants-at-work in the jungle, elephants playing football, a grand war, and elephants' parades. Elephant rides around the village are recommended. The one-hour-long elephant shows are held at 14:30 hours.
Elephant shows are also operated in other places. Most of them are located on Sukhumvit Road.

Sanctuary of Truth (Prasat Satchatham)
The compound, which covers an area of more than two Rais, is situated by the sea at Laem Ratchawet on Na Klua Road, North Pattaya. Within the compound is a gigantic temple-like structure entirely made of wood that is 105 metres high at the highest point which was constructed to withstand wind and sunshine on the seashore. With exquisite architectural features, the sanctuary was conceived out of the vision that human civilization has been achieved and nurtured by religious and philosophical truths.

Suan Chaloemphrakiat (Fitness Park)
Located at the foot of Pattaya hill on Phratamnak Road. Covering a large area, the place constructed to commemorate His Majesty the King's sixtieth birthday on December 5, 1988. The gardens of the park boast a wide variety of flowering plants. There are also multipurpose grounds and winding trails for walking or jogging complete with standard exercise facilities. On any given day, a large number of people will relax, jog, exercise or simple enjoy the scenery of Pattaya in this park.

The Bhira International Circuit
The compound is located approximately 15 kilometres from Pattaya on the Pattaya-Rayong Road (Highway No. 36). The Bhira International Circuit periodically holds international motor and motorcycle races, while there are daily opportunities for speed enthusiasts to drive their own two or four-wheeled vehicles around the challenging track. Motor and/or motorcycle races are also organized regularly over the weekends.

The Bottle Museum
As the name implies, this is the place where you can find elaborate bottle creations, including the usual vessels. Located at Km. 145 off  Highway No. 3, the museum features the work of the Dutch master Peter Bedelais. Opened daily from 10.a.m. until 10 p.m.,

The Lakeland Water Cable Ski
This is at Km. 150.5 on Highway No. 3, about 5 kilometers from Pattaya. Cable ski equipment is available for use at its large fresh-water lake. Open daily 10 a.m.-9.00 p.m. Tel: 0 3823 2690-2

The Million Years Stone Park and Pattaya Crocodile Farm
Situated at 22/2 Moo 1, Tambon Nong Pta Lai, Bang Lamung. From Sukhumvit, turn left at kilometre 140 close to the pedestrian bridge in front of Wat Sawangfa along Chaiyaphonwithi Road (State Highway 3024) in the same direction as Mapprachan Reservoir for another 5 kilometres. This is an other popular attraction with Thai and foreign tourists. Covering a large area, the compound comprises rock gardens and a botanical of rare plants and beautifully landscaped grounds. Interesting sights include, for example, fossilized plants over a million years in age, 200-year-old Thai style Bonsai, crocodile pools and a collection of rare animals such as albino bears, elephants and horses. Crocodile round-ups, magic and animal performances are also a major attraction.

The Monkey Training Centre
Located in Soi Chaiyaphruk, off of Highway No. 3 at Km. 151, the centre brings the best out of the monkeys. Visitors can admire the intelligence of monkeys, which are trained to harvest coconuts and to perform other various activities. Additional performances include cock fighting and a snake show. Five shows are available daily at 9 am., 11 a.m., 12.00 noon, 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

The Motion Master Moving Theatre

The Pattaya Cart Speedway
This is a small racing track about 5 kilometres south of Pattaya on Thep Prasit Road. Opened daily for both professional and amateur drivers from 9.30 a.m.-6.30 p.m.

The Pattaya Park
The Pattaya Park at Jomtien features a large water park with giant sliders and a tower with a revolving restaurant, which offers a panoramic view of Pattaya. Visitors can enjoy many instruments, which offer excitement and a great fun.

The World Dog Centre
A little under 3 kilometres on Phonpraphanimit Road off Sukhumvit is a canine training facility. The World Dog Centre has more than 250 different species of dogs and stages daily shows by well-trained police dogs four times daily.

The Ripleys believe It or Not Auditorium
This is situated in the Royal Garden Plaza on Beach Road. The auditorium has a large collection of stories of oddities from every corner of the globe. The world's most unusual museum has the Motion Master Theatre with flight simulator technology or Laser Trek, where you battle against fellow space creations in a futuristic arena.

Wong Phrachan Beach
Situated on the northern side of Pattaya Bay, this 1-kilometer beach shares the same entrance as the Central Wong Amart Hotel. It is a quiet spot, good for swimming and relaxation.

Underwater World Pattaya
The largest and most modern ocean aquarium in Asia, boasting a 100-metre-long, 6.4-centimetre-thick acrylic pedestrian tunnel through an underwater environment filled with dozens of marine species becoming the newest attraction in town. Located just 200 metres south of Tesco Lotus in South Pattaya, the new theme park covers a total area of 12-rai and is housed in a structure similar to a large circus tent.
The aquarium itself houses more than 4,000 marine animals, comprising more than 200 different species from the region as well as some rare creatures from overseas. Top in the Visitors must-see list is the rare shovelnose ray, a hybrid between a shark and a stingray.
